Any easy dog biscuit recipes/advice?

I don’t have a dog but my siblings all do (different kinds, different sizes) and my girls like to buy Christmas presents for the dogs.

This year my 7 year old has asked if we can make dog biscuits and put them in decorated jars with their names on, which I thought was a really lovely idea. Suspect it’s topsy & tim-inspired but ok.

I’ve googled some recipe ideas but it’s information overload.

So my brother has a very young small pup. My sister has a lapdog and a Labrador.

Can they all have the same? Or are there recipes which are better for small/big dogs? It’s confusing!

I had a set of different sized dog bone cutters and recipe book that I used to use with DD - unfortunately ive no idea where its gone. But you might be able to find something similar. The recipe we used was some sort of wholemeal with cheese and garlic powder (though I think garlic as well as onions now aren't recommended for dogs) . They were very nice (yes, perfectly edible by humans as well as dogs!)
Sorry that's not very helpful but at least bumps your thread. Afaik the main difference would be to size appropriately for each dog.

They can all eat the same, you just might want to do smaller shaped ones for the lapdog :)

Make sure neither of them have any allergies before you start.

I got the Dogs Trust magazine through this week and it had the following recipe in for dog friendly biscuits. I haven't made them yet so no idea what they'll be like!
