Does anyone else's dog react to the beep when scanning lateral flows?

One of ours barks every time but is fine with all other household/phone etc noises.

Yes, she goes bonkers! I have to remember to turn my phone down. I think it's the same noise she hears from the postie scanning parcels which she can hear down the street. Also car doors etc etc

You can just enter the code manually. You should be reporting results though.

Oh. Never reported results as they’ve always been negative.

I can't watch Tennis with my dog in the room , scared of the beep when the ball hits the net . Scared of the beep when the CM detector battery needs changing , or the best one yet scared of my husband's cooking .

No, but mine cries at the sound my phone makes when I've lost it and get it to ring via the find my android website.

Not done one, just pcr tests, but if the beep is anything like the delivery drivers ones when they scan in parcels, then yes she would. Very loudly and for far too long than is necessary.

It says more than once in the instructional to report the result in matter what it is. It tells you to report negative result.

How can you be doing LFTs and not know that?

I don't have a dog but: there's a beep when you scan your tests? How have I never noticed this?!?

Mine doesn't beep, so he doesn't react. However, whenever anyone in our house is doing a LFT, he brings them a toy.

I clearly didn’t read that bit.

I’ve been testing twice a week for a very long time, I no longer read the instructions and haven’t for a very long time. Read the ‘how to’, saw it was negative, disposed of the test. Rinse and repeat.

It’s really not such a big deal. I’d have reported if it were positive.

And saying ‘I’m sorry’ before going on to criticise someone is hollow.

Yes. My dog reacts frantically to all electronic beeps, most house appliances that beep or whirr. Vehicles reversing, an endless list of things. He is a stress head Drama queen X ten.

Mine does as well. It's sounds exactly the same as postman's scanner I think.

I set my timer on my phone for the left timings. That's what beeps .
