Adaptil tablets alongside medication?

Quick question on behalf of my Sister.

Her dog is currently on a course of Rilexine and Prednicare, he's also terrified of fireworks. They had a lot going off nearby last night and she couldn't find out whether it's ok to give Adaptil tablets alongside the prescribed medication. Of course she'll talk to the vet before November 5th but now she's worried there might be fireworks again tonight so trying to find out if she'd be ok to give the Adaptil if she needs to.

Does anyone know?

I very much doubt that Adaptil tablets will make any difference to firework phobia unfortunately.

Best to speak to the vet asap. I am aware that is not helpful for tonight though. Fireworks are the pits for some dogs Sad

I wouldn't mix medication without speaking to the vet. What's fine for one dog won't be fine for another.

Has she tried a thunder shirt, or that method of covering the dogs ears with a blanket/towel? I forget the name but it often circulates social media at this time of year.
