Omlet topology dog bed - do you have one?

Does anyone have one of these? They look comfortable and I like the fact that they are raised off the floor with legs. Are they worth it? And if you have one for your dog, which topper did you choose?

Thanks!

Oh and most importantly - does your dog like it!?!

We have one for our Springador, we got it when she was a few months old as we wanted a day bed for her. She loved it from the moment she saw it Grin We have a bolster as well as the wooden feet, I think she likes to feel like she’s on a sofa cos she’s not allowed on our furniture!

She’s done her best to scratch it and dig through over the months and it’s proved to be extremely tough.

Big thumbs up from me and DDog.

That’s so helpful - thank you. Our home is a small cottage so the front door opens straight into the sitting room. We wanted a bed with legs to lift the dog off the floor in case it’s draughty. The bed would also go well with our sofa although that’s not really important!

It would be a day bed unless he chooses otherwise - he’ll have a bed upstairs too.

Omlet has a tendency to target their products at people who are more concerned about aesthetics than animal welfare - the Qube hamster cage is particularly awful for this. They banned me from their Facebook page for pointing this out in the comments Hmm

From a welfare point of view there's far less that can go wrong with a dog bed, but a quick look at the website reveals that only the toppers, not the base, is machine washable. A non washable upholstery base on a dog bed you want to last for years? Nahhhh....

If I were looking for a raised dog bed I'd go for a HiK9 - I saw them at Discover Dogs and they looked very good www.hik9.com

I couldn’t recommend the Tuffies dogs nests highly enough. We’ve had 3, they last amazingly even with diggers / chewers and are so cosy and comfy for dogs.
They aren’t raised so quite a different style but the sides are high so no drafts and the customer service is brilliant. I truly couldn’t recommend them highly enough

So useful both - thank you.
