If your dog is distressed and does not appear to make a quick recovery you need to get them to a vet in case they are having an allergic reaction, if it was my dog I would ring the vet for advice on pain relief at the very least anyway.

Am trying to get through to the vets on the phone now but they're not answering 😣 she doesn't seem distressed but won't put any pressure on her paw and is just laid on the sofa 😢 won't let me near her paw.

Dogs can have piriton give her some of that. Maybe just 1 tablet

Hi hopefully you’ve spoken to the vet by now. I applied white wine vinegar on my cats paw, which had swollen to the size of a large dog’s paw. It helped. And ice after.

Vets want to see her to make sure the stinger isn't still lodged in there, so we'll hopefully get some info from them but thank you all for your replies!!
