Puppy Bed

Hi,

We have a 16 weeks old miniature dachshund puppy who is a chewer of beds. I was planning on buying an Orvis eventually but don’t want to get one just now in case he destroys it. Can anyone recommend a bed which can withstand the assault of his shark teeth? Thanks

I would try a raised bed like a Bunty. Although tbf my spaniel was a shit for chewing so I just ended up getting the v cheap fleece blankets from IKEA and sticking 2/3 down in her crate. She did grow out of it by about 8/9 months though!

Personally I wouldn't bother with a bed for a puppy - just use old duvets, towels and cheap fleece throws that can be chucked away or used for rags.

Puppies chew, have accidents and can be destructive - it's really not worth wasting your money!

Vet bed - greened backed not rubber backed. They may chew holes in it but not normally destroy it totally.

Thanks for the advice. I did put towels down and he drags them around the floor but will persevere.
