Spay Advice

Hello!

First time poster and looking for some advice. My puppy’s just had her first season & I’m starting to think about spaying her. My vet doesn’t offer the laparoscopic spay, which is my preference. Has anyone been to an alternative vet for a spay? I’m slightly nervous as very happy with my current vet & would be good to have known people for aftercare.

Is the laparoscopic spay really worth it? What have peoples experiences been with traditional spay recovery?

I would have liked laparoscopic but my vet also didn’t offer it.

It was a long time ago but as I remember it her recovery from a traditional spay was fine and unremarkable.

She had a thin jumper with poppers instead of a cone to stop her getting at the stitches, I don’t remember her being in pain or slowed down at all
