Has anyone rehired from Greece?

Just as above, really. After 7 dogless years, preceded by 18 or 20 years with three gorgeous rescues in total, we are in the perfect place to offer another hound a home, but we have been struggling to find the right one. Now, though, we think we might have... but he is in Greece until certain conditions regarding fostering or adoption can be met. He will be neutered, chipped and vaccinated - plus blood tested for, eg, tick-borne diseases. The charity responsible for rehoming in the UK checks out as legit, and the specific woman I am dealing with comes across as professional and knowledge, as well as compassionate. But..... could I be missing something? Does anyone have any useful experience they could share?

She's independent, but works with Halandri Adoptions amongst others. We actually found our dog advertised on the Mutts in Distress website, with the broker's contact details and a disclaimer that MiD didn't know anything about the dog.

@joopy79 I’m so glad you had a wonderful experience.
I have an endowed charity working with many rescuers abroad, it would be lovely if you could name this charity in order to help them and others.
