Can anyone offer advice please?
We’ve had our dog for a while now, he’s a six months old German Shepherd cross. When we had him at 8 weeks we went through the night wakings/out for toileting for a while but he’d got to a point where he was sleeping from 9.30/10 to 6.30 ish. Recently he’s started whining/barking at around 5am and refusing to go back to bed alone. This morning it was 4 am. He went for a wee then was barking if I went back to bed but when I laid on the sofa he went to sleep on the floor!
I don’t want to be sleeping on the sofa every night, any helpful tips to get him to stay in his own bed please?
He is crate trained and happily sleeps there up to now, no chance of him being in a bedroom- the cats are upstairs and dog is downstairs.
