Just had my animal friends pet insurance renewed through. £650 😵‍💫

5 year old greyhound!

Any recommendations for decent pet insurance that won’t bankrupt me?

Have you made claims before?
Bought by Many is usually reasonable

Had one claim with him last year for eating chocolate.

I’ll take a look at that thank you.

I would think it’s at least getting a quote from PetPlan, they can be expensive, but you never know. I’m with them and and pay 250 a year more for a large 16 year old Lurcher. His cover started out at 30 a month when he was youngster and is now 75 a month.

Their prices do go up each year, but not excessively or in huge jumps and not in response to claims.

We are with Agria and haven't had any issued when I've needed to claim. We have £12,500 lifetime cover, I currently pay about £60 per month for a 10 year old cocker who needs life long medication. The medication alone would cost me in the region of £50 per month so I can't complain too much.

I pay £37 per month for an almost-four year old Beagle.

We're with Tesco and have their highest level of lifetime cover.
