If you have a show cocker spaniel how do you have your DDs hair groomed / cut? Does it need to be hand stripped or can it be kept tidy with clippers? Asking as the breeder we bought DD from said we should never use clippers on the hair on her back....

Hand stripping is proving to be expensive!

You would need to hand strip for the show ring to achieve that certain look without choppy/stepped regrowth but if you’re not showing then practicality, cost and time wins out - just clip!
