11 month old not eating, possible phantom pregnancy

Morning everyone, my springer spaniel is 11 months old and finished her season 6 weeks ago, the vet advised us to wait 8 weeks until having her spayed and now I think she’s having a phantom pregnancy.
She’s very protective of a toy and her space, will growl and bark if anyone comes near her so we’re all giving her a wide berth at the moment. I hope that will pass once she’s spayed but my main worry at the moment is that she isn’t eating and is barely drinking. She hasn’t eaten properly since Wednesday last week so nearly 5 days now.
We saw the vet about it when she first became aggressive 3 days ago, she’s also had kennel cough so he advised us the aggression was due to feeling rubbish and gave us antibiotics and metacam. They’re due to finish on Tuesday.
Has anyone experienced this before and can anyone give any advice about how to get her to eat and drink? I’ve offered her a boiled egg this morning and she won’t have it. She has had bits of ham which we wrap her tablet in

Not sure about the lack of appetite (ours was still eating well) but we were advised to take all her toys off of her or anything else she could guard. Extra exercise and a little less food were also prescribed by the vet, apparently essentially with slightly less calories this stops the body being able to produce the hormones/carry on the phantom. We were close to the cut off for getting her spayed before she had another season and it needed to stop before they would do the op.
