Dog’s just not running

She’s a 3 yr old hugely active spaniel and just stopped running 2 days ago on a walk. Originally thought it was the heat as didn’t realise it was going to get so hot but yesterday she’s not running at all on her walks and this morning. Will call vet later but just wanted any input

Is she walking fine? Any sign of a limp? When you say she stopped running did she pull up whilst running?

No sign of limp, she just became really subdued - walked back all the way right beside me which she never does. Has absolutely no oomph

Sounds like she is in pain with something. Have you spoken to the vet?

Poor doggo hopefully the vet can find out what it is and get her back to her normal self

She may have been spooked by something, or maybe she twisted something.

She needs to see a vet.

Mine stopped running on a walk, occasionally sitting but still had his moments of madness. But then when he wouldn't jump out the car I knew then he was in pain and had injured his back.

I bet she has hurt her back. See the vet asap
