Took delivery of 8 month old lab pup's new Perfect Fit Harness and training lead as recommended by our puppy trainer and maybe it's beginner's luck but bl**dy hell, it made a difference. The gentlest use of the correction 'front' lead (the lead is one long lead attached to D ring at front and top that can also be used as just traditional type lead) had him happily walking at heel for the whole walk.
No treats other than verbal praise.
No pulling.
I can't believe I just typed that. No pulling!
Will report back at the end of the week after more consistent use as husband reckons it's a one off
