I picked up my puppy yesterday and she is settling in well but my adult dog (2 year old shihtzu) is really not happy. She has spent the last two days under the sofa. Hasn’t even come out for food which isn’t like her at all. She loves her food. Pup is currently asleep in her crate so I used it as an opportunity to tempt big dog out of her sofa den. It took a lot of persuasion but got her out and she has had some food. I think she hasn’t realised pup is still here. She is sat on the sofa now but when pup wakes up I think big dog will be back under the sofa :( Pup isn’t bothering big dog, I am not sure she even knows she is here cos she has been under the sofa for so long. I don’t know what to do? Do I just wait and hope they get used to each other?
