Hi everyone, first time poster. I have a six year old shihtzu, got her at 18months old from someone who didnt want her. Lovely dog, very obedient, good with other dogs and people, very easy to have. She has allergies in that for the first six months we had her she had pretty constant runs but this has been sorted by keeping her on grain free. We give her one piriton each day from March to September , vets advice, for pollen allergy. We wipe her paws with baby wipes after she’s been for a walk but she still gets ear infections, mainly wax. She was insured for 12 months but when we tried to claim for ear problems they wouldn’t pay as it came under allergies. We’ve been back to the vets today and come back with ear drops and ear wash and too be honest I feel we are going round in circles. Any suggestions would be much appreciated as I don’t know what to do next. Sorry it’s so long
