My poor pup just had a grooming appointment today (early Friday; I’m in the US so it’s still Friday here) My husband picked her up and texted me after a bit that one of her eyes was running. (I was at work) I said maybe some hair got in it and she’d rubbed at it.
When I got home hours later, both eyes were really bad...like they look infected. Since it’s both eyes I don’t think it’s an injury, so maybe an allergy? I texted the groomer to see what he thought and he said maybe it was the shampoo.
The vet is closed but I will try to get her in tomorrow if they aren’t much improved. I’ve given her some antihistamines and they seem somewhat better but still look painful, and she doesn’t want me wiping them. 😭 My poor girl!
