How do you keep the bloody cone on!

Poor Ddog has been payed and had mammary tumours removed today at the ripe old age of 14

You’d think after charging you £578.12 they’d help you put the bloody cone on but no.

Any tips?

Couldn’t keep it on our old snake-necked Lurcher so got an old rash vest type thing from a charity shopinserted hos front legs through the armholes and zipped it up (zip on top, iirc) and he sported that for a week or two-much more comfy and not nibbling stitches.

There will be some holes around the neck line on the cone, if you thread some ribbon through, you can then tie it to your dogs collar. Hope that makes sense!

Also another option is to put a big shirt or big baby grow on her to cover up her wounds. They generally tolerate that better than a cone.

Buy a blow-up doughnut-shaped soft cone off amazone. Much more comfy and very easy to put on

You thread the dogs collar through the loops on the cone. Give the dog a treat after the cone has been put on.
