Just came back to say (shout!) SHE'S OURS! Found out last night... Let the fun begin...
(I deleted the last thread as came up on trending and was worried about the rescuer reading it...) She has asked me to keep it off fb as she wants to let everyone else who wanted her down gently... Went on a spending spree yesterday... We are both so happy...

What a little cutie pie.

Knew a 3-legged dog - pins and plates in his other legs. He was a little sod (rescue and issues) but was active and bouncy until 15.

Thanks everyone.. She's settled in very well and unless we miss her signals is doing very well in the house training... She's a darling.
I took (carried) her to the beach where Kenny had his last ever walk..('knew this time would come' thread) An emotional journey and I told him that he'll always be our special Boy and that he will never be forgotten.. I needed that as I had lots of guilt about 'replacing' him so soon.. But I told him that because he was such a good boy that he'd given us confidence to give Peggy a good home..
I met a couple who were walking their elderly dog who was being PTS today.. I hope they took a tiny bit of comfort meeting Peggy that even though they are devastated life can still have joy...
