A buggy that fits a 1yo baby and a lovely old dog who can’t walk far

Is there such a thing and does anyone have any recommendations? I’m guessing some kind of double-buggy scenario or one with a large and robust tray underneath, but I really have no idea what would work or where to start. Dog is medium size and around 15kg. Any ideas much appreciated!

The uppababy vista and the uppababy Cruz both have very generous storage underneath and a wide entrance point (easy to get dog in there). I've transported a tired toddler/pre-schooler home in the basket before now.

I don't particularly like it as a buggy though, a bit bulky and not the easiest to steer.

Most double buggies will work fine. Ddog has an old mountain buggy that converts to bike trailer designed for 2. (Wasn't new!)

Thanks so much both - that’s very helpful! So glad there are options out there.

I would get something that completely separates the dog from the baby, so that the baby can't grab the dog or kick the compartment with the dog in. It only takes a split second for a baby to accidently hurt/frighten the dog and the dog to retaliate, especially if the dog is unable to escape.

Definitely one with a parcel shelf below the DC.

I've seen several used this way, and it works really well. Usually small breeds, but I think you'd be ok at 15kg

My friend used to have one of these for her baby and old dog, just put a blanket/pad in the basket for the dog.

You guys are the best - thank you for the suggestions. These look perfect. I’m excited now - will be able to take her on longer walks again (it’s taking forever just to reach the park at the moment). Thank you!
