Want a toy poodle but can't find a breeder

I want a toy poodle in a year or two and I'm trying to do the thing you're supposed to do ie find a decent breeder and get on the waiting list .Does anyone know of any good toy breeders in the southeast? I have looked at champdogs but it doesn't seem like the breeders update it that regularly.

I don't want to use a breeder that also breeds poodle mixes so that rules out quite a lot.

Try contacting the British toy poodle club and see if they have any lists .

Try this website.
The Poodle Council lists the U.K. poodle breed clubs with contact numbers.
Ring them & ask about members who may be able to point you in the direction of breeders planning litters. Getting on the breeder grapevine is key when looking for a puppy as often breeders don’t advertise, especially in the current situation. You can usually get passed along between them till you find someone with a litter planned or an open waiting list.
