Good idea with children?
Google giving me mixed advice ... anyone got one x

Are the children good with dogs? That’s the bigger question. Even the most tolerant of dogs will get fed up with being pulled about or pestered when sleeping/eating.

Shih Tzu and Poodle crosses are also the puppy farmers wet dream. KC Shih Tzu and Poodle reputable breeders won’t do that cross.

How old are your children? Have you had dogs before?

Any dog can be good with children if raised properly, and if the children are given correct boundaries.

Why do you want that particular mix? All I can think is the grooming would be a nightmare!

Please don’t tell me it’s called a Shitpoo.

Seriously, OP, I have no idea. I echo those who say you will struggle to find a reputable breeder, and should be prepared for just about anything in terms of coat maintenance.

Why not either breed? They are both lovely in their own right...
