Diarrhoea after Vaccine

Ddog is almost 3, he had his yearly jabs yesterday and overnight has done 5 huge poos🤢 not really diarrhoea but soft piles.
I feel bad for him but he seems fine.
Could this be a side effect of the vaccine?

Could just be stress of going to vets on warm day. Adrenaline decrease gut transit time leading to softer faeces.

There was so much poo tho! 5 piles bless him.
I've given him a smaller breakfast which he's devoured but does seem a little quiet now.

Yes, it's a relatively common side effect. Like PP said, it's also often the result of going to the vets too - many dogs find it very stressful unfortunately, especially if things are different because of COVID.

Thankyou , I will keep an eye on him today, he's just happily gone out for a walk
