Blood in puppy's vomit

Last night, about 11pm, our 14 week old cocker spaniel puppy wretched and brought up some cream/yellow vomit (about a tablespoons worth) followed by (a teaspoons worth of) pink, pale red foam.
She went to bed after that and didn't wretch or seem off. She sleeps in a crate by my bed.

We gave her a tiny amount of soft food this morning and have booked a vet appointment for late this afternoon, they advised us not to feed her again before we visit. We have been giving her water.
She has wee'd and pooed today and last night, not as often as usual but I suppose that's down to the lack of food.
She vomited again at 11am this morning, a teaspoon (sorry, just to give an idea of amount) of dull yellow and half a teaspoon of pink.
I haven't taken her for a walk, just played gently in the house. She seems herself, alert and wants to run around.

Any one had similar? I'm so worried and counting down the minutes to the vet appointment!

Hi @RainyMondays, I'm sorry your puppy's not well. If she's otherwise herself that's a good sign but it would be a good idea to monitor her closely until her appointment.

Did the vet ask you to feel her stomach to see if it is painful or swollen? Is she still drinking ok?

Thank you for your reply

No I only spoke to the receptionist, who just told us not to feed her until we've seen the vet.
I have felt her stomach, it doesn't feel bloated and she isn't responding to any touch as if in pain.
She is drinking, not loads but her usual amount. She hasn't done another wee since this morning, about 10am.

Strike that, she's just done a wee outside.

That's a positive. Let us know how you get on at the vets.
