I have an 18 week old lab puppy. He has been really good so far a bit nippy occasionally but generally a really friendly dog. The last few days however he has been a nightmare, nipping constantly, which is painful. He is jumping up and biting at clothes. His teeth are obviously bothering him and there is blood on his toys when he chews so I think teething. However this is coming across as quite aggressive. Any tips or help appreciated.

Have you had a lab before? I hadn’t when I had mine. This is pretty standard behaviour, I sought the help of a behaviourist and they basically told me that I was inexperienced Blush.
Teeth like razor blades, drew blood, pushing boundaries and it hurts like hell! They grow out of it I promise. You may find little teeth around the house, mine ate them🤣. The one tip she did give me was not to play with his mouth, don’t let him mouth you, don’t make it a game. The bite intensity of a Labrador is very high.
Provide chew toys, kongs, don’t over exercise as it’ll wreck joints. They’re basically a huge bundle of energy that you have to redirect, which is hard when you shouldn’t exercise them too much.
Mine is the best dog I ever had, gentle and so tolerant. He was a little devil of a DDog teenager though.

There's a great Facebook group called Dog Training Advice and Support run by professional dog trainers. They have a load of guides on the pages about raising a puppy, including some great info on managing teething and mouthing.
With our Cocker puppy, putting an old wet towel in the freezer was great for soothing sore teeth. Long rope toys to keep him away from our hands. Different texture chews and toys, from soft plush to nylabones to plaited rope - he seemed to seek out different textures.
