Any other ideas for patio doors?

Have the problem of can't just let the dog wander in and out of the patio doors, as she will dig the garden if the fancy takes her. But, with the weather I would like to have a least one of the double doors open. Other than a travel stair gate anyone got a genius idea? They are double doors that swing open outwards (not sliding doors). Thanks

How big and how determined is your dog?

If she’s smallish and fairly easily deterred, what about a mesh fly screen? You can get magnetic ones or others that attach via velcro dots on Amazon.

Alternatively, if you want something more fixed, but pricier this place seems to have quite a few options.

We put ornamental fencing around the patio which is fairly large , it has a gate onto the actual garden . It looks nice and has the added bonus of keeping the dog off the grass when it’s really wet so we don’t get loads of mess indoors . We originally put it up because the dog , who is a determined digger , dug up , chewed a daffodil bulb and nearly killed himself .
