Are there too many Milos?

We are getting a puppy in a couple of months.

I really like the name Milo but a friend said it is very popular. Are 6 dogs going to come running if I call it in the park?

Other options are Bruno, Nico, Gino or Dusty.

Actually I have a list of about 30 but those are the front runners.

Oh I don't actually know any Milo's in our park, I think it's a great name!

I love Milo. I know of a few but don't actually know any. I knew a couple of Brunos, both of which were rather dull and smelly! My favourite in your list though is Dusty. It seems to have a bit of a retro vibe.

But if you haven't had met your puppy yet it could all be moot and you might find something else that suits him better. I had decided the name of my next pup before my old dog died. We visited the litter and chose the pup but the name just didn't suit so we had a rethink.

I like Dusty too. We are rewatching Stranger Things with DS2 at the moment so it is at the front of our minds.

I only know one Milo, and he is lovely

Jonty is a good name for a labrador but not a spaniel I think!

Our dog is called Milo My daughter's choice. Mine would have been Freddie (massive Freddie Mercury fan).

I have heard Luna many times. Not met any other Milo's yet though

I wanted to name ours Dusty Bun but was vetoed , deffo go for Dusty. I know a Milo and have met another locally.

I know so many Milos. I love Bruno!

Pesto could be cool, although basil would be great!

In our usual dog field there are Golden, Black and White Milo - and that's out of about 25 early morning regulars. Still a cute name though, and easy to bellow!

I don’t know any Milos , lots of Teddy’s and Poppy’s .

Nico is a really cool name for a dog.

We have one (DS’s choice, he was a huge Tweenies fan 20 years ago). I have met one or two others but not many.
