Norfolk terrier not right

I have a nine month Norfolk terrier bitch and something is up with her. We went out for a pub lunch on Saturday and sat outside - she was on our laps a lot and happy but shivering. I assumed the cold - it was freezing.

On Sunday morning she had an episode of reverse sneezing, then shivered on and off and wasn't herself for the rest of the day. She sounded very snotty.

Monday morning I took her to the vet who said probably kennel cough, it's going around right now. And we did walk past a dog last week that was coughing and its owner said it's got kennel cough.

The vet said if not kennel cough it might be allergies but unlikely as she's young, and failing that she might have something stuck in her nose but also unlikely. She gave me some anti inflammatories to calm her inflamed trachea.

This morning I took her for a (solitary) walk and she had fun chasing squirrels, but slept and sounded snotty all day. Very odd colour, only eating a tiny bit, and hasn't done a poo all day.

Tonight she was sleeping on our bed when she suddenly did this sort of frenzied digging motion, sat up and looked confused, then fell asleep again. She had wet the bed which she never does. I took her to the garden and she just sat there looking dazed. So I've put her to bed but am really worried.

All these days she's been having episodes of reverse sneezing and trembling afterwards.

She is my first dog so I might be being neurotic and she's got a respiratory infection of some sort. But I feel very worried it's worse than that.

I'm seeing the vet tomorrow afternoon again but would love any input as I'm going out of my mind with worry.

Glad she is recovering. It's awful when they're poorly. Get well soon little one.
