Greyhound lump on gum

Hi all, hope I'm in the right place. I just noticed this on my boys gums, is this in need of a trip to the vets? I hope it's nothing serious... I am now convinced it's a tumour after consulting Dr. Google (stupid I know). It isn't bleeding and he is still eating normally, doesn't seem to be bothering him in any way. He's only just over 4 so not an old boy by any means. Tia x

I would go to the vets, could be an abscess that needs antibiotics.

@Kat1112025 Thanks Kat, I'll get him to the vets.

Goodluck! It could be lots of things, many of which aren't serious, try not to worry x

@Kat1112025 Thank you! Hopefully it's just benign and my guess is they may take a biopsy but thankfully he's still his daft self.. currently roaching on my sofa and almost kicking me off it 😆 I'll update tomorrow! X

Good luck. My Grey is now on my bed zzzzz like a good un xx

All good news at the vets it is benign and if we were to remove it, it may just come back anyway so as it's not bothering him we can just leave it! So that's a relief.

@OliveToboogie My boy is now doing that but on our sofa 😆 xx
