Cracked Paw Pads

My DDog has cracked paw pads. What do people use to help with them please?
Google hasn't been much help.

The only time our dog had cracked paws it was due to an allergy. A change to hypoallergenic food solved the issue.

There are balms you could apply (not Vaseline!) but it would probably be best, and more comfortable for your dog, if you could find the cause.

Thanks- I'd assumed it was the wet conditions that had caused the cracking. I didn't think it would be an allergy!

We use the Wild Dog paw balm and it works really well. I put it on at night before bed otherwise he tries to skid around.

I made this for family and friend's dogs. Natural and very effective.

We've been using Max Wax for Paws since winter. Bought it mainly due to the salt that gets put down.
I apply it weekly and it keeps his pads soft and supple.
I'm going to buy Mushers secret once the current tin (last forever!) runs out.
