Dog resorting back to puppy behaviour

We got our 4 year old dog neutered about two months ago and ever since she has started dirtying in the house even after she’s been let out in the garden or taken on a walk and while we’re home although never does it while we’re out. She’s also become destructive and has been chewing/ripping up cardboard, paper and trying to chew anything she can get her teeth on, this is also when we are home. She’ll be getting loads of attention and then she will just take herself upstairs and start ripping things for no reason. Has anyone experienced this after getting their dogs neutered? She never done this before the operation

Has she had a vet check since spaying?
Pain?
Damage causing lack of control re toilet?

She has and everything was fine, she healed fine and has been acting herself (other than these two issues) and doesn’t appear to be in any pain. It seems to be behavioural as majority of the time she does it when playing/excited

Go back to puppy training.
Just like when you got her.. take her out when she wakes, after eating etc etc.. and definitely before playing.
Probably spaying has knocked her back, (it's a big op!) but the answer, if she's medically fine, is to go back to basics.. it probably won't take long :)
