How to report an advert selling puppies

I was Googling a certain cross breed of dog and started looking at a website selling puppies. I browsed through a few adverts until a reached an advert which made me feel really uneasy. The post was selling about 8 pups, stating they were selling at a reduced price due to work commitments... surly a breeder would have organised their work around the litter? Seeking puppy owners quickly isn't in the best interest of the litter either. Also pictures of the mum looked really unkempt.
I have tried to report on the website but not sure it has worked.
Is there anything else I can do? Would rspca look into this?

What's the link between the price and work commitments - are they saying they'll let pup go before 8 weeks? That would be illegal.

I'm not sure what other grounds you'd report on tbh - mum looking a bit unkempt isn't illegal

The pups are described as 8 weeks. I guess they just want the pups sold quickly because they don't want to bother with them any longer.
You don't think any checks can be done on the breeder then?

I don't think selling them at a reduced price to sell them quickly is worth reporting. There is nothing illegal about it so an investigator wouldn't have anything to investigate. I get that it is not best practice. They clearly are not looking for the best owners they can get for the pups but there is no reason to think they are doing anything they are not allowed to do.

Sounds like it's not best practice - but you'd need a lot more than that to trigger an investigation.

I'm wondering if they really are 8 weeks old or not? 😞

Tone honest I don't know. I just know that those puppies.... and mum are vulnerable. I have messaged the website but heard nothing back. It's so sad the way people use dogs as a commodity. Angry
