Cover for sofa

I’ve final given in and accepted the fact that our dog ( a rescue) is calmer and more relaxed if we let him on the sofa in the evenings.

I’ve been putting down a throw which I will wash every couple of days but wondered if there was some kind of anti-odour special dog blanket.

What do others use? Don’t want a smelly sofa!

Mine go on throws on sofa which I just wash. I use febreze every morning I don't have an odour issue.

I use throws on my sofas and when they go in the washing machine I put a capful of Zoflora (the anti pet smell one is excellent, but any will work) in with the fabric conditioner. No trace of dog smell.
