Do you tip groomers?

Just wondering

What’s the norm?

And does it make a difference if they own the business? Or have premises, work from their home, or come to yours?

Since they charge £45 for an hour and half shampoo and cut then no way

I don't but my groomer is an independent groomer who owns her business/is the only groomer there. It seems a bit silly to pay the price she asks for then add some more to it - because it all goes to her anyway.

I just try to be as laid back and easy going cutomer as possible Grin

I give her a Christmas bonus but don’t tip each time , he goes every 4 weeks at £33 so I think that’s sufficient .

No, they charge for a service and already calculate a profit in that, same as hairdressers and any other self employed business.

The groomers cost almost double what I pay my hairdresser too so I don’t feel the need to tip.Smile

I give a bonus at Christmas as a thank you but otherwise I don't tip.
