Petplan and taking dogs to work

I was looking at insurance at Petplan and one of the questions is if you take your dog to work you have to call for a quote. Does this put the premium up? Why is this? It would just be to an office on an occasional basis.

I think it depends on the nature of the job as to whether it will put your premium up. I suspect it's to do with the dog being on a different premises and what kind of risk exists there.

I don't know about the original question, but PetPlan paid out £4000 for my dog's surgery without a single question, so can only recommend them.
