Hi there, we are planning a puppy for later on in the year and trying to do lots of research first.
I am registered with the Facebook group, but waiting until I can print all of the units out before reading all of them.
So our house set up is dining room leading to garden, living room and 3 bedrooms upstairs. I work in the dining room so thought we would have a bed in there for the pup, during the day, and then she would come into the lounge in the evening, and then sleep next to us in the bedroom for the first few weeks.
So do we need to keep moving her bed and crate around with us during the day?
Also we have a cat, so have worked out an off ground area and route for her to get to and from her favorite places in the house, and also will borrow a selection of baby gates. I wondered if there was anything else I can do to prepare. Could we possibly introduce puppy and cat scented blankets to the two animals to help make the introduction less threatening?
We are planning a viszla pup, so are prepared for 'velcro' aspect of the dog, and lots of exercise agility training.
