Looking into getting a greyhound..... hopefully rehomed.

Anybody who has a greyhound.....

Yeah! We will, of course, require photos. Generally of your sofa disappearing under it's new owner..... So happy for you.

Amazing! Congrats!

We've had 3- 2x ex racer (both very confident) and 1x ex- used-for-breeding-but-never-raced (HORRIFIC, spent 4yrs of her life in a cage, had 3 litters by the time she was 4, last litter totally deformed, she was an absolute wreck when we got her!)

They're amazing dogs, just make sure you hide all the food 🤣

Oh my gosh i feel so nervous

I really hope she likes it here.

Any tips on settling. When i visited her on wednesday she seemed a bit unsure of me and wanted the kennel owner more.
It is understandable but worried she will pine after her when she is dropped off

She might do- is she coming with anything like a blanket or toy from her old(foster?) home?

Give her space, if she comes to you talk to her and give a bit of fuss- when she's ready and knows she's safe with you she'll come around :) (won't be long once she figures out you=food 😉)

My boy, I’ve got a female too.

Just give them space when they arrive. We have a crate each for ours, it’s got a big thick duvet and is their safe space.

Let them come to you, have treats aplenty!

I was so nervous too. She will slowly blossom though, as I was told. We've only had our boy a year but he's changing a little each day. I see now it's a long game, it'll be a slow process, but worth it!
