Complete raw food website

Hi! We have been looking to change our dog on to raw feeding for a while now, however, ideally I would like to buy the food already mixed with the right amount of everything they need.
I've seen some websites that do this and sell it ready mixed and was looking for recommendations if anybody has any?

Wolf Tucker or Nutriment are both good 😌

@Tiredbadger thank you! I have placed an order with Nutriment so will give that a go😁

@Lou98 I've been really impressed with them, hope you get on well with it!

Mixed with the right amount of everything?
What do you mean by that, should there be added vits etc with raw meat, Lou98?

We’ve been using the bags of raw frozen food at the big pet supermarkets since our girl was a pup. Easy to count out chunks, lots of different flavours and all nutritionally balanced.

Just checked brand: Nature’s Menu

Dogs need a certain amount of muscle meat, bone meal and organ meat in their diet for it to be complete. Plus minerals and bits. You can buy all the bits separate and use a calculator to work out how much to give, but it’s much easier to buy it ready mixed.

I have a supplier local to me who stocks many different brands - I use DAF which has mixed reviews but my dog does just fine on it. And it's more affordable than some others which he turned his nose up at, ones with herbs, veg etc.
They do complete mixes with offal, bone etc at right proportions. Sometimes DAF does seem a bit bone heavy but it's easy to tell by the poos & I then replace a bit with bone free mince.
Dog is not overly keen on raw offal (except tripe!) so it's important for us to have it all mixed in.

Yeah I believe it should be a mix of meat, offal, bone, veg/minerals etc. I would be worried doing it myself that I wouldn't be giving the right percentages etc so thought it would be easier ordering complete

@Itchyandscratchy thank you! Is the frozen stuff you buy there already pre mixed? Or do you still need to add the bone etc yourself?

We use Bella & Duke. It arrives frozen and you just pop it in the fridge the night before it's needed. It's ready to go, and you can subscribe.

LostArcher · 12/04/2021 15:09

We use Bella and Duke because it is fairly faff free.
