Puppy dreams all night and awake at 6.
I am very ready but have I forgotten anything?
Got.... bed, crate, toys, blanky, bowl, towels, food, wee spray, kitchen roll, car crate, collar, lead, balls, chewy, schedule, food plan, babysitters.
I’m beside myself with excitement.

Standard dachshund. There will be many many pics.

Poo bags, wine (for you), warm coat (for you). Someone mentioned fur lined crocs in another thread, and since getting our pup a week ago, I have been fantasising about getting some!

Take them, the kitchen and a couple of towels in the car with you. Our puppy was sick several times on the way home.

I have a little tub near the back door with treats , pooh bags and a torch in , very handy for light night wees . My son has a dachshund, so much character

You might also want:
Collar tag (we use brass slide tags)
Vet appointment for vaccinations and check-up
Bum bag for treats, keys, phone, poo bag etc

She’s not my first but I do feel like a first time mama. Never had a little baby before. Ours have always been a bit older.

We had always had rescue cats. Bringing home kittens was a worry!
Don’t forget the tag needs certain info on it by law. KC website will say what.
Perfect fit harnesses are supppsed to be good and I think you can replace just a bit of it when pup grows.

Slept all the way home.
Dog 1 loves her. Dog 2 kind of likes her but isn’t sure what she is.
Currently asleep with Dog 1.
Chip transferred. Tags ordered.
