I thought the doghouse might be a good place to ask this but if I don't get any responses I'll also try the SEN boards.
We are looking into an assistance dog for our child, I know about the registered charities providing dogs for people with a diagnosis of autism or for those with a physical disability but our child has a learning disability alongside a genetic condition so wouldn't qualify for an autism assistance dog.
I have found Helpful Hounds on the South coast but that's very far from us, does anyone know of any other charities/companies we could consider?
I'm already aware of Supporting Paws, support dogs and dogs for good.
