Doggles?

Just wondering if anyone has ever purchased ‘doggles’ for their dog and can give some advice? We’ve been told it’s worth a try for a specific issue we have with our sprockerpoo (8 months) but started looking and it’s a bit of a minefield! Ideally where the best place to find them, a lot on Amazon look quite dodgy!

My spaniel has had recurrent eye infections, triggered by a deer allergy, and I thought about Doggles for him to wear up the woods. I mentioned it to my vet and he said they can cause more problems than they solve.

Thanks for replying @Spanielsarepainless. Did your vet mention any specific problems that you can remember? I definitely don’t want to make her situation worse!

No, he didn't, I'm afraid. I would think the problems would include poor fit, getting hung up by the strap, or the whole thing slipping and causing damage to the surface of the eyes or elsewhere. If I were going down the Doggles route I would not buy a cheap version.

Thinking about it further, any distortion in the lenses would be as destabilising to a dog as to a human.
