Poo systems

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has installed a Doggie Dooley or similar in their garden? My friend was telling me about them and I like the idea of effectively shovelling the poo down a big hole so that I don't end up with stinky bins!

Does anyone have any recommendations? Or is it not worth the effort to install?

We have a similar system. I train my dogs to poo at home and then put it into the dog loo with some water and digester and all sorted. No plastic waste at all and limited use of poobags.

You do not want to have it near any vegatables or near a water system but other than that it is easy and environmentally friendly.

I have not used the doggie Dooley , which looks quite useful, but we did try one of those clean green things when DDog1 was a puppy. He’s a lab; poops for Scotland; even as a puppy it was more than the thing could handle and just did not dissolve fast enough.
The mini septic tank looks a lot more serious and useful.

We just bag them and take them to the dog waste bin on our next walk. We are lucky to live in an area well served by such bins.
