Does anybody know what this could be?

I've got a just turned one year old pug X staffy. I've recently moved house, my dog has been in boarding and came back yesterday. They mentioned that the past day she had been walking on 3 legs and not walking on the back leg. I checked her foot and found this. It's pretty big and feels very hard. She's booked to see the vet, I feel sick with worry. She's fully insured, I'm glad I managed to remember to do. Thank you.

That does look big, and painful, poor thing. No idea, sorry. See what the vets says and fingers crossed its easy to deal with. My cat got bitten and his leg swelled up massively. He had to be put under, have the site cut open to drain the puss, plus antibiotics and pain relief. Hope all goes well.

Why on earth didn't the boarding facility get her seen to? I'm more shocked that they just left her limping!
