Wart

Hello
My elderly JRT developed a wart on his snout, it's progressively gotten bigger and keeps catching when he is rolling about.

Took him to the vet and they suggested trying some string round it and it should fall off eventually. 4 weeks later a 3 lots string it's not shifting, I can booking him in at vets but he will need a GA, as he is 12 I'm not keen.

Can anyone offer any advise? Or anything else to try before I admit defeat.

Thanks

This is just after he has rubbed it on the floor..

Little dab of tea tree? Assuming he can’t lick it? Not sure if it works on warts but seems to fix every other problem. Just use a cotton bud and be very careful to touch only the wart .

Clear nail varnish, cover the wart twice a day and it will fall off
