My dog may have Lymphoma

Can I get a hand hold please, took my dog to the vets today with swollen lymph nodes under her chin and was told that all of them are swollen, she said it's a sign of a serious illness that requires some investigation and she is going in tomorrow. I'm trying to stay positive but I know deep down that it's serious as she has a cough and is also panting a lot.
I have had her since she was 8 weeks old and she is now 12, she has been by my side during hard times and even loving my 2 babies too. I have another dog too who is fit and healthy and also 12.
They are my first pets and although I have lost 2 cats in the past (only young) the thought of saying goodbye to her makes my heart break, as I'm not ready to say goodbye to her yet. I know it's not confirmed yet and it's now a waiting game but I'm so upset. How do I get through the next couple of days, hand hold please

Another hand hold here. It’s hard when they are ill, they are so dependent on us. Hoping for the best for you.💐

Thank you, it's been confirmed today that she has Lymphoma, trying to stay positive with treatment etc but I'm still upset too, I wish dogs lived as long as humans
