Why can’t my puppy settle tonight?

She’s 10w3d. Two days ago she had a reaction to her 2nd vaccinations (so I’m probably overthinking things) and had an injection of painkillers/ to bring her temperature down. She’s been fine since.
Tonight she keeps trying to settle (normally she sleeps from 00.30) but keeps whining/ moaning and repositioning herself. She’s not crying, just a bit vocal (she’s pretty talkative anyway). She seems happy otherwise, and is her normal loving self.
Should I be worried?

I don’t want to leave her and go to bed until I’m sure she’s ok/ settled.

If she's continually repositioning herself it may mean she's in discomfort, so I think you need to monitor her and phone the vet tomorrow if she isn't back to her normal self.

You could try leaving her for a short period - 20 mins - and then come back to see if she's settled. It may just be something like a tummy ache brought on by the painkillers, but you need to keep an eye on her and ring the vet if worried.

She’s been asleep since I wrote this! I’m going to wait 10 minutes before going to bed. Fingers crossed she’s settled now...

That's a good sign! Hopefully she's settled now for the night. A course of medication can often give a bit of tummy pain so it's just something to watch out for. If she's eating and toileting normally, it will be nothing to worry about.

Yes, eating and toileting normally. Still quiet so far...
Hopefully it’s just her schedule was thrown off by the last couple of days.
