My rescue staffy has been a nightmare with other dogs. She's very anxious and whines, lunges and snaps. It's taken us almost a year (with a bit of a setback in the middle when we had to move house 3 times in a short space of time, and one of the times included long haul flights) but we've just had two days in a row of walking calmly past all the dogs we met and ignoring all of them. I wanted to share. It feels like a bit of a breakthrough. We've never had more than a day of complete calm before, and the parks were crazy busy this weekend so there were lots of opportunities for her to lose her mind!
Next job is to try and get her over her hatred of my parents' dogs...
