Dog names - two similar?

We currently have an Annie, and are rescuing a Barney. It doesn’t know its name. I think those are too similar. But he does look like a Barney. What do you think?

Although they both end in an -ee sound, the first syllables are different enough for the dogs to both work out which one is being called or praised.

It's fine. We had a Monty and a Betsy.

We now have Betsy, Murray and Ramsey. They all come when you shout biscuit.

You’ve made me think, how often do you want just one of them? I think you’re right and we’ll keep it.
