Eye Drops - how to get them in

Dpup has conjunctivitis. We got some eye drops from the vet on Friday, I managed to give him his first dose in both eyes no probs.

Yesterday managed 1 eye twice but each time I tried to do the other, he legged it away from me.

I don't want to scare or manhandle him but he needs them in.

Any tips?

Our grown up lab didn’t love it but we just about managed. The vet suggested to do it in a corner / against a wall to minimise escape. Bring dog over. Treat. Take out bottle. Let dog sniff. Treat. Take off lid. More sniff. Treat. Quickly do one eye. Treat. Other eye. Lots of treats! The treats were just his kibble, taken out of his rations for the day. He’d have gained weight over the course of the treatment otherwise! He was pretty good about it by the way end. Good luck!
