DD is now 18 mo so not a lockdown puppy but she’s missed out on loads of socialisation over the last year. Live rurally so lots of walks across deserted fields whereas before she’d go on the school run and practice pavement walking next to a road, meeting other dogs and people, hanging out at the park with the dc.
She’s really lovely but a bit bouncy and enthusiastic when she sees new people and other dogs. Her recall has also gone to pot as the local rabbits are all a bit slow due to the snow and she can catch them so she’s back on the leash. Hoping it’s a teenage phase.
Any tips on how to get her to behave when meeting others or does it just need practice until it starts to feel routine again.
